Blue Ridge CareNet Counseling Center will be at the Seniors’ Health Fair at Reeves Community Center next Friday, January 27, from 9 am to noon. Our newest counselor, Adrienne Reich, recently featured in the Mt. Airy News, will be there to introduce herself to the community again. She and our other counselor, Joseph Alexander, will provide free depression screenings to interested attendees and answer questions about the services provided by CareNet. Come and join the fun!
Thanks to the 40 golfers who came out on a gorgeous Thursday afternoon at Cross Creek Country Club to play some golf and benefit the Blue Ridge CareNet Counseling Center! Over $5000 was raised and a fun time was had by all!

The 1st Annual Blue Ridge CareNet Counseling Golf Tournament is TWO WEEKS away! We are still looking for golfers to take part in this extraordinary opportunity to have fun, enjoy a beautiful day of golf, and benefit a very important organization in our community.
The tournament will take place on Thursday, Sept. 15th at Cross Creek Country Club. Registration will be at 11am, lunch at noon, and tee-off at 1pm. If you’re a golfer of any ability, please consider becoming part of a team for this tournament. All you need to do is email Troy Payne at: troy(at)tpsupplyco(dot)com. You’ll need to provide him with the following information:
- Names of your team members
- Each player’s handicap
- A contact phone number
Deadline for registration is Monday, Sept. 12th. Fees are $100 for all tournament players and includes the green fee, cart, and lunch. In addition, you can “acquire” a mulligan for a $10 fee.

We’re less than a month away from our first annual Blue Ridge CareNet Counseling Center Golf Tournament on Thursday, September 15th. We’ve had great response thus far, but the more the merrier!
If you’re a golfer, consider getting a team together. If you’re a business, we’d love to have you as a hole sponsor. All proceeds go directly to the local center to benefit the clients that are served.
